Much sympathy, it is so unfair they have to leave us. Our adored doggie left us a few months ago, we are still in recovery. We have the boy cat still, but his two sisters have gone.............as he is 15 we are holding our breath. However maybe a new puppy in the Autumn will be a help but not a replacement. I find it is like teaching, one hgets so fond of the kids and then when a new class arrive it is no time before I am absorbed again.
I am a textile artist living in the suburbs of London with my husband and daughter and numerous pets.
I have recently gained a BA (hons) in embroidered textiles to add to my other qualifications both in textiles and teaching. I am a Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, Leader of the exhibiting group Material Girls and instigator and founder Chair of the Eastern Region Textile Forum.
My practice is led by my work with both fibres and thread. I am most likely to be found sewing in my studio or sketching/photographing and wishing I lived near the sea!
