Glad to see you're pushing forward with the course. I've heard that Gavin Fry is a great inspiration too , at least you have a pastoral tutor, which is more than you have on the C&G, I'm afraid my motivation is at an all time low with it at the moment, can only hope things will improve as the weather gets better. Your sketch book work looks intriguing. good luck with the inaugural meeting.
I am a textile artist living in the suburbs of London with my husband and daughter and numerous pets.
I have recently gained a BA (hons) in embroidered textiles to add to my other qualifications both in textiles and teaching. I am a Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, Leader of the exhibiting group Material Girls and instigator and founder Chair of the Eastern Region Textile Forum.
My practice is led by my work with both fibres and thread. I am most likely to be found sewing in my studio or sketching/photographing and wishing I lived near the sea!
