About Me

- I am a textile artist living in the suburbs of London with my husband and daughter and numerous pets. I have recently gained a BA (hons) in embroidered textiles to add to my other qualifications both in textiles and teaching. I am a Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, Leader of the exhibiting group Material Girls and instigator and founder Chair of the Eastern Region Textile Forum. My practice is led by my work with both fibres and thread. I am most likely to be found sewing in my studio or sketching/photographing and wishing I lived near the sea!

Thank you for sending me my wonderful wall hanging via Marion. I am thinking of giving it to my hubby for an anniversary present, as the colours remind me of Cornwall and we have had some wonderful holidays there. Not sure I can wait until April though, I just want to hang it!!
