Hi Chris Your embroidery looks interesting. I saw your comment on my blog and came over to visit you. I am way behind in my OPUS work as I did both cultural stitch and embroidery methodologies at the same time over the summer, and there just wasn't enough time for me to do it. I love the research part however, but get bogged down there. I hope you are doing well and loving the study.
I am a textile artist living in the suburbs of London with my husband and daughter and numerous pets.
I have recently gained a BA (hons) in embroidered textiles to add to my other qualifications both in textiles and teaching. I am a Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, Leader of the exhibiting group Material Girls and instigator and founder Chair of the Eastern Region Textile Forum.
My practice is led by my work with both fibres and thread. I am most likely to be found sewing in my studio or sketching/photographing and wishing I lived near the sea!
